Password Hashing
User passwords stored in Cloud Depot are encrypted using a one way hashing with unique strong salts to prevent brute force decryption.
Two-factor authentication
We have added a layer of security to help protect your account. Each time you log in, you will need to enter a code generated by an app on your smartphone.
Physical Security
We host our product with Amazon AWS. AWS is an ISO 27001 certified company with data centers secured with 24 hour surveillance and biometrics.
Data removal policy
We believe in knowing only what is required to provide our service and nothing more. If we no longer require the information (such as sync logs) we delete them from our database servers.
Credit Card Security
We don’t store credit card numbers on our servers, your credit card information is stored by our credit card provider eWay, a tier-one PCI DSS compliant gateway.
Data Storage & Backup
We use 256bit AES backup encryption on all database backups and securely store them in two different global regions. We run a full nightly and hourly incremental database backup. Our backup strategy allows us to recover in the unlikely event of a major incident.
Restricted Access
Only a select few authorised personnel have access to our production environment. They cannot access our AWS platform without using two-factor authentication.
Data Encryption
Any data that requires encryption and decryption is done using AES 256bit encryption. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit to our applications. Keys are securely managed outside of our hosted environment.
Independently Monitored Uptime
We run internal and external load balancers with automatic failovers to make sure we maximise our uptime.
External Threat Monitoring
Cloud Depot uses a globally recognised threat monitoring service to actively monitor and block inbound threats to our hosting platform.
